A Halo: Reach Tattoo Fit for a Spartan

Ben, better known as Pro DELBOY within the virtual world of Xbox Live, has long had a before 30 bucket list, the biggest thing being the acquirement of a tattoo. As a Halo fanatic, he’s wanted nothing more than to have a small part of that science fiction-based universe permanently etched upon his body. However, his desire to keep it subtle has always made images like the iconic game logo less than desirable. Imagine his delight when he first laid eyes upon the enigmatic Noble Team insignia. Instantly recognizable to a fellow devotee but indistinguishable to the untrained eye, Ben got the Halo: Reach-themed symbol inserted with indelible ink directly into his lower arm. This rather legendary endeavor leaves me with just a single question: Are we playing Assault by chance? Because I’m pretty sure this guy is the bomb!

Wow that is pretty sweet. I just dont know about getting video game tattoos. My next two are a memorial one and a dragon. But that one is definitely cool looking. props to getting it on the wrist haha
When you say your next one, how long does it take to get a tattoo? Cause it sounds like you’re really planning it out. Not that I’d ever get one…
It can take about an hour or two for a tattoo, but it helps to plan out what tattoos you want well in advance, so you don’t end up like a human scrap book:D

The wrist is a pretty bad place to get one — almost as bad as one on your forehead. I say that mostly because that’s where the mark of the beast will be placed, either on the forehead or the wrist =P inb4 troll
well..then wouldn’t those be the BEST places? If you already have tattoos there, there’s nowhere else to put the ‘mark of the beast’ :p

I have had the seventh column on my arm for the last two years.
That’s pretty sick! I would definitely consider getting that well before I would think about getting a Master Chief helmet or a Cortana pin-up.
Wow, this is actually a very tasteful tattoo, and probably wouldn’t need a ton of explanation for anyone who asked. Nice job!
That’s actually not that bad looking. And if anyone ever asks and you don’t want to be to embarrassed you could always play it off as if its a military tat.
If you’re going to go all the way and get a tattoo of a game in the first place, you’d have no shame or embarrassment in explaining what it is to someone. :P

I might consider getting that same tattoo but in a different place like my shoulder or something. ^_^
I plan on combining a Halo tattoo with a USMC Tattoo that a friend got. If I get it, it will be an Eagle holding a ribbon which says “Semper Fi” on it, and in one of it’s talons will be arrows, and in the other it will be holding a lightning bolt (yes, that’s from the Spartan II emblem).
When I get enough disposable income after buying a new 360, two copies of Reach, an apartment and bills, I’m going to get my Halo 2 emblem on my left shoulder–The Mark of Shame. HELL yeah!
Nice, just hope that that insignia doesn’t become as well known as the Halo icon. Don’t know if it would be so subtle anymore.

no go on the halo tattoo but man do i love the game and reach is going to be epic just live halo ce was and halo 2 was….and halo 3 and odst were horrible games except halo 3s xbox live multiplayer

Awesome ink, Definately loving the Halo based tats. I’m getting a UNSC Eagle soon enough. Hopefully before Reach drops. And the Reach Beta was the most fun I’ve ever had in a Halo Multiplayer experience. If they’ve done any work on the game after that, it will be the best Halo to date.

Not to belittle the guy, but I agree with a way earlier comment. This tattoo looks more pen drawn than tattoo. From someone who has 8 tattoos on their body, this was either not done by a good artist (the filling doesn’t look the best), not taken care of very well when they first got it, or pen drawn. Cool nonetheless, I give him that.

That is a nice symbol for a Halo tattoo. I myself have one that I got about 4 years ago. :P It’s simple, yet it IS the Halo logo and is very similar to the logo on the cover of Halo: Combat Evolved.
