Mario Was Always a Dog Anyways

Mario Dog Costume

If you’re going to dress up your male dog, you might as well throw him in an outfit that accurately reflects his interests. Since that would be the constant chasing of tail, a certain short, pudgy, Italian plumber more than fits the bill. With a price tag of $16.50 USD, this Mario-themed canine costume includes an instantly recognizable red shirt, button-adorned blue overalls, and a coordinating M-embellished hat. Luigi is also available if your pooch is more of a wingman, but the Princess Peach option is glaringly absent. That’s unfortunate because that would be perfect for your ex-girlfriend. Get it? Because she’s a bitch? … Oh, nevermind. I’ll quit rambling now. I need to go figure out who let the dogs out anyways.

Hi there! I’m the designer of the outfit and am honored to be featured on this blog! Just wanted to let you know that a Princess Peach outfit is in the works. My dog, Parsnip, is all girl and I politely asked her to model the boy’s Mario outfit. She will be happily sporting the Princess Peach costume soon, completely with matching crown and jewel! You can find it listed at
